Recognised for his skilful use of prints and colour combinations, Jonathan Saunders is the Scottish born designer who has created a beautiful selection of womenswear since his London Fashion Week debut in 2003. After graduating from Glasgow School of Art, Saunders went on to study at Central Saint Martins where his graduate collection won him the Lancome Colour Award in 2002. His career then led him to work under Alexander McQueen, as well as becoming a consultant for the likes of Chloe and Pucci.
His use of graphic prints is his signature style, utilising patterns in an innovative way in order to create an impactful range of vibrant designs. Traditional silk screening techniques create his desired look and each garment has a specifically designed print in order to make it unique. From delicate florals to striking graphics, his range of wearable pieces are beautifully crafted in flattering shapes and quality materials, perfect for the modern woman.
Sadly, Jonathan Saunders announced the closure of his label in 2015 and as he steps down as creative director, his SS16 collection will be his last – get your own piece of this iconic range before it’s too late.
